DUI Program Options

Six state-licensed programs, matched to your conviction.

Designed for individuals arrested with measurable blood alcohol levels below the legal DUI threshold.

  • 12 hours of alcohol and drug education
Drivers aged 18–20 convicted under California Penal Code 23140 may also be assigned to a similar program.

Designed for first-time DUI offenders with lower blood alcohol levels.

  • 34 hours of alcohol and drug education
  • Group counseling sessions
  • Face-to-face interviews
  • Any additional requirements set by the County
San Bernardino and Riverside counties require a 4-month version of this program.

Tailored for first-time DUI offenders with higher blood alcohol levels.

  • 48 hours of alcohol and drug education
  • Group counseling
  • Face-to-face interviews
  • Any additional requirements specified by the County

Intended for first-time DUI offenders with the highest blood alcohol levels.

  • 65 hours of alcohol and drug education
  • Group counseling

Designed for individuals with two or more DUI convictions, typically assigned following a second offense.

  • 12 hours of alcohol and drug education
  • 52 hours of group counseling
  • Biweekly individual interviews
  • 6 community reentry monitoring sessions

Since its founding in 1975, Safety Consultant Services Inc.'s Impaired Driver Program has pursued a single, singular mission — educating drivers on the serious risks and consequences of drinking and driving, and helping every participant return to their family and community as a productive, sober member of it.
